Following a busy summer and promising kick off to the fall semester, the ConsiderCode team was thrilled to Attend and present at the PACT Capital Conference hosted by RSM at Xfinity LIVE! this past week. PACT is an event that unites the private equity, venture capital, and entrepreneurial communities in the Mid-Atlantic region. For over 20 years, this conference has stimulated billions of dollars in venture funding and entrepreneurial success. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the event and ConsiderCode’s CTO & CEO Kavun Nuggihalli presented on behalf of Temple University. Kavun was selected by a PACT committee of investors, attorneys, accountants and others that reviewed a large number of applications.
Attend is the first of its kind real-time student success system. Educators across the greater Philadelphia are currently using this application in-class to gauge student comprehension. The suite of tools offered by Attend is usable by all educators and faculty. Currently we are focusing on analytics for libraries because students succeed when they have the proper access to resources. Out of the 25 million students who enroll each year, 50% drop out. We want to use our analytics to ease and assist the incredible work that educators and advisors are doing behind the scenes, and help unlock keys to automating similar success levels for all students.
Between insights from experts, and pitches from other early stage companies, ConsiderCode LLC once again made important strides forward in the Philadelphia tech start-up movement. The PACT playing field was vast and varied with almost 50 companies pitching their idea, solution or product.
Before ending the evening with a wonderful Gala, the conference was wrapped up by the sought after Lion’s Den. Five highly successful entrepreneurs are given three investment opportunities and must make a real-time Investment. For the second year in a row one of the three companies was selected to receive an $850K investment across the 5 investors.
Overall the management team at ConsiderCode wants to thank everyone at PACT and Temple University for believing in us and opening doors to great opportunities.
