The Angel Venture Fair Hosted by Morgan Lewis

Companies and investors from a wide array of industries were in attendance at this year’s Angel Venture Fair(AVF). The Philadelphia Union League was buzzing with entrepreneurial energy throughout this incredible event. We are proud of our peers and ourselves for going through the rigorous application and selection process to pitch to the AVF community. The companies hosting booths had a spectrum of incredible ideas and opportunities ranging from; landfill purification automation, to cookies molded into a cup, to the first artificially intelligent diaper. Being around such great minds is so inspiring and a constant motivator to continue building up the Philadelphia innovation community.

Success So Far

ConsiderCode, no stranger to showcase events, was eager to host a booth and pitch to this experienced community. Last year, ConsiderCode won 2nd place and funding from Temple University’s Be Your Own Boss Bowl, then ConsiderCode was a featured company at the annual PACT Capital Conference. This year, besides the Angel Venture Fair, ConsiderCode represented Temple University at the Pennsylvania Capitol Building for Owls on the Hill, and was also a featured company at Philly Tech Week’s Entrepreneur Expo. Overall, we are grateful to have been selected, from all the university companies, to attend and represent Temple University entrepreneurship. We are looking forward to future partnerships started from this event.

Specifically, ConsiderCode would like to thank Marc Kramer, Candace Kilstein, and the rest of the Angel Venture Fair staff for making such an amazing experience available to students. We were beyond honored to have been awarded the “Most Promising University Company”, especially among so many capable companies and strong peer candidates. We love seeing the same faces at these events and we wish the rest of the Philly entrepreneurship community the best of luck this year with all of their exciting ventures.
